My parents, my best friend Jackson, and I went to Iceland on a 36 hour stopover in 2016. It was a very exotic and little visited place at the time, and we had such a blast.

We saw Reykjavik, with the Hallgrimskirkja, and took a car down to Skogafoss and the black beaches of Vik, on Iceland's southern tip, where we saw puffins.

It was a blast, and I'm dreaming of going back with a week or longer and a camper van rental!
