Jerusalem

I got to live in Jerusalem for 1 month, meeting locals, learning the complex dynamics of the area, getting lost and crossing into the West Bank on accident - it was an amazing experience.

One of my absolute favorite expriences was visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus suffered his passion, death, and resurrection. I cried kneeling at the slab where he was buried.

I loved visiting Masada, the epic mesa in the south by the Dead Sea where Jewish rebels held off the Romans for the better part of a year around 70 A.D. Can't wait to go back and see more!
